So I have a 2019 2500 cummings 119k miles
I primarily use the truck to tow our camper 4 to 5 times a year. I also have a beater car for work that is my daily so I don't rack up miles on the truck. Couple months ago check engine light came on for particulate matter sensor i drove truck it started regen and light went out took the truck out this weekend light came back on dpf is about 1/4 according to dash is it because it doesn't get driven alot or is the sensor bad . Second part is it bad to let it sit that long ?

If it is a diesel, yes it is not the best to let them sit. In the old days a diesel could sit for years with out being driven. Now a days with the DEF etc they need to be driven. It sounds like it needs to be driven a few hundred miles. Really take the truck to work once a week get it good and hot, and see if this continues.
