I reset the IBS 2 separate times and I just had the faults show up again, lost throttle in traffic. I got home and started tracing wires since I had to do a full cab harness swap, and for the 3rd time everything checks out. I have noticed my voltage sit at 14.1 some days and then other days it sits at 13.6. After I reset the IBS it drops to 13.5. Could that just be from the sensor trying to relearn? Both my batteries have been load tested and are running strong. What else would you recommend checking? I’ve got an alternator in the mail

Sorry to say, but if your voltage is 13.5 running, it is either battery, wiring, alternator or the ECM not telling it to charge.

Do you have an isolator or a splitter between the batteries?

I replaced both batteries since my problem didn’t start until after I did the Laramie swap, couldn’t find any loose wires, and the batteries were dead when I finished. It’s been a week since I put in the new batteries and I haven’t had any issues with any codes or faulty throttle pedal. If no issues arise in 3 months (when the issue came back) I’ll update.

Hey there, I had a very similar issue on my truck. Kept getting P2122 and ETC light on and limp mode. Would happen intermittently. Replaced pedal and throttle body but that didn't fix it. Finally found the engine harness was rubbing against one of the bolts on the PCM bracket by the battery. Tore right through the harness and some wires were frayed. Fixed that up and have been good for now

I got the DTC and limp home again yesterday about 1 block after leaving a car wash. I recall it happened before after coming out of a car wash (I think my first post about it here).

So yes, as all others have said, there must be a corroded or loose connector pin or wire issue somewhere and/or water is getting in. Will keep looking. Thx.

IMG_0891.pngIf I barely bumped the wire it would spike to 6 and all the way up to 11. Check your wires

No, I did a tradesman to Laramie swap. I had to source a new interior harness. I checked the wiring 2 times before I installed it, but the damage was under the loom where I didn’t check. Next I do something like that, I’ll strip all of the loom offIMG_8923.jpeg

After I jankly taped up the gouged wire cleared the codes, the P2122 and p2127 cleared themselves on the test drive and the primary and secondary APPS weren’t fluctuating everywhere
