Try pulling battery cables off and touch them together and hold them together for 10 or so seconds. This will reset the computer. The lightning bolt is showing there is a problem with the throttle body. Sometimes a computer reset will fix it. But you may need a TB. Have you cleaned it recently? Odd it would do it after gassing. Bad gas?

Have you pulled any codes? It sounds to me like your truck went into some sort of safe mode to prevent damage to the engine.

Normally I would agree with you Karlsweg, but I'm going to have to disagree this time. bobby lee, generally speaking, that lightning bolt warning is an indicator that there is an electrical issue somewhere. I'd rather have a CEL than the lightning bolt personally. It COULD be the throttle body or a melted wire (say on the transmission near the exhaust) or pack rat damage or just a broken wire creating an open circuit. Electrical issues can be a bear to chase down.
