Anybody use these truxedo bed covers? I am thinking about getting one but worried about how it will look when installed. Do you guys like it and do yall have a hard time installing it?

I ran one for 6 years on my old Silverado and it looked brand new the day I sold the truck. The Velcro was finally starting to lose some of its grip. I got another one for my new Ram about a year ago and love it. I had them installed both times but did end up disassembling and reassembling it once on my old truck to haul some firewood and it was pretty easy. There are definitely fancier ones out there but I love the simplicity, durability and look of this one.

I'm traveling for the next few days (away from my truck) but can snap a picture of mine if you want to see what it looks like installed on a Ram. PM me if you want... I'll be home Thursday.

I like mine. I've only had a year but in a year it's been great. Beats the hell out of the old days of snaps in cold weather.

I had a Truxedo Truxport on my old GMC and didn't have any issues with it. I put a Truxedo Low Pro QT on my Ram last week and don't anticipate any issues with it either. They are well built and work well. Installation is easy, it takes about 20 minutes or so.

Thanks for the info. What is the main advantage of the low profile truxedos? Just for looks? THe reason I ask is that the regular is 299 and the low profile is 499. BIG price gap!

Mine has been great. Manufacturer occasionally runs 10% off, selling for $269. I got mine for like $180 brand new from a craigslist seller.
