Here is my initial report on the tuftruck 1211 coils. The first thing that I noticed it raised the back of my truck 2 inches higher than what it was before I put the coils on. The coils were supposed to maintain the same road height. I did not Measure the new coils versus the old coils side-by-side because I had a shop put them on while I was taking care of business so I do not know if the OEM coils compressed a little bit and stayed compressed after towing my travel trailer because I never measured the back of the truck when I bought it brand-new.

One thing I did notice, It seemed I got better gas mileage with the new coils versus the OEM coils driving into the strong head winds that we have here in deep south Texas. When I was driving with the wind my miles per gallon was about the same. Maybe with my truck being raised in the back changed the dynamics a little bit driving into the headwinds.

On the highway I could not tell a difference in the ride quality, my RAM it Is just as comfortable. When going over bumps (railroad tracks etc.) the truck felt a little more firm than before but it handled the bumps, in my opinion, better than the OEM coils, there was not as much bounce and jiggle. When my wife gets in the truck that's when I will get a true opinion on the ride feel.

I have not yet hooked up my camper to see how it will do but I will be hooking up my camper in two weeks and I will report back on that.

They'll settle a tiny bit. You may or may not notice it- but I suspect you will. Took a few months of trailer towing and loading and mine eventually settled about half inch or so- but those were the TTC1223

Well, my wife wrote in the truck for the first time since I put the new coils on. We road on the expressway, around town and down several dirt roads. I asked her if she could tell difference between the OEM coils and the new coils. She said she could not really tell a difference except going over the bumps on the dirt road. She said the truck did not jiggle and bounce as much as it did with the OEM coils. BTW she is the main reason I went with the Ram over the F150 because of the ride quality of the Ram. So, as far as ride quality the ttc 1211s are winners. When I hook up and tow my 7200lb trailer in 2 weeks we will see if the 50% extra carrying capacity really helps with the bobbing up and down and help with leveling of the truck, stay tuned!

wonder if you need to put more weight on the front end with the WDH, could help with the bobbing. Only way to know for sure how the weight is transferred is to take the truck over the scales.
