Hope this is the right section.

I can get a Trinity T1000 or an intune i3.

I'm looking at the refurbished models that come with the same warranty.

The t1000 is 296 and the intune i3 is 271.

Just looking for opinions. realistically I don't see myself running with the t1000 up all the time so was leaning towards the i3 to shut off MDS, install the 93 tune, and then once I get my headers on do a custom tune.

Let me know if there is some major bonus to the t1000 that I should spend the extra 25 bucks on. I was also leaning towards the i3 because it is newer.

Thx everyone.

If you're not looking for live data to be displayed all the time I would just get the i3. It will do everything you need tuning wise.

The only advantage the T1000 has is the real time display, which requires the unit to be plugged into your OBD II port to operate.

If you don't want the display you can spend less and get the I3. BTW, the I3 will hold tunes for more than one vehicle if you purchase a license for the additional vehicle(s).

Finally caving in and purchasing a new one I see. Probably a good idea, I got a used one that has no tuning capability for my 14. Now I get to deal with this mess that is not worth the time for the money I saved. Lol..
