I have a k&n drop in and a flowmaster super44 and my truck seems a little hesitant at times  wondering if a tuner would help. Not opposed to other upgrades any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

By "K&N drop in" you mean flat panel filter in the factory airbox? Have you checked that the airbox is closed properly, making a good seal and that the filter fits correctly? Seems basic but always check the easy stuff first.
If those are good, did you unplug any sensors in the engine compartment, and maybe they're not quite plugged (clicked in)/seated fully?
Have you tried unplugging the battery overnight to reset the ECU?

While a tuner would certainly net you gains, I doubt it would fix a hesitation issue unless you're throwing a code it can reset (which doesn't actually FIX the problem)

^^^ what he said, you're honestly not going to feel much of a power gain, if at all, from those mods.

The last 2 posts are right on the money. The muffler is good for sound, but not much for performance. The filter is nice because it will last the life of your truck, but again, it wont show any gains in performance. I would look into a ported throttle body and a tuner for your next upgrades. I would eventually throw a real cold air intake on there, but because you have already invested money on the filter, its OK to hold off a bit on that one.

I see you are in Houston as well. I dont mind meeting up with you and even installing the TB for you if this is something you are interested in.

I think I might have just bought some bad gas for the hesitation but since I've refueled the hesitation has stopped. What octane do yall run in your trucks I think I need to stay away from the 87 octane.

I've been looking at your website and I'm interested in a bunch of stuff on there was planning on coming by your store and checking stuff out and getting your opinion on some upgrades. I live pretty close but usually don't get home till around 4:30 after work think I'd be cutting it close to making it out there in time
