tuning recommendations

Hi guys, I'm looking for recommendations but I've got some specifics I'm looking for. I have a 2016 2500, 6.7, 68rfe and 3.42 gears.
I'm not looking for high HP tunes. I'm looking for high quality tunes, increased mpg when empty(post injection needs to go!) and trans programming for when I am towing.
And I have one specific thing I want done, if possible. I want the current gear displayed in drive automatically. I have reached out to two different reputable companies and they both said it's done with alfaobd, but that seems to be only true with a 2019+(yes there were informed it's a 2016 upfront) anyone have this done through tuning or alfaobd?
This is my first 4th gen i finally needed to replace my 2nd gen due to rust, but i will be able to get the last 7k on it this summer so it hits 500k..

Unless they were aftermarket installed, there is no 3.23 (or 3.21) gears on an EcoD in the DS body trucks. 3.55 and 3.92 were the gearing options from the factory. 3.21 gearing wasn't available from the factory until 2020 DT body with the Gen3 EcoD motor.
What year truck do you have? Your profile states 2015 but you mentioned above it's a 2016? I do believe people have been successful with getting the current gear to show up on the EVIC all the time using AlfaOBD on 2016 or newer EcoDs.
As for tuning options, I hear there's a shop in the neighbors to the north of the states that has offerings for EcoDiesel Owners

There wasn't 3.21 as an option for the HD trucks either. 3.42 was standard, 3.73 and 4.10 were optional. For the "Gen4.5" HD trucks the 3.42 went away and 3.73 were standard.
There have been a few people that were confused by the vehicle options for the DS1500 EcoD, thinking it can with 3.21 gearing as that's what's listed as standard for the 1500 but the engine option changed it to 3.55.
You should update your profile and/or signature to reflect the vehicle you own.

There was a thread on this forum not too long ago, and it appears it's just the 2016 and newer EcoDiesel that you can set the current transmission gear to show on the EVIC. From it's been reported that it doesn't work on the gassers.

i doable checked the build sheet it is 3.42 gears not sure why i was thinking 3.23. the dam thing dose do 90 at 1900 rpm.
doesn't really change I'm still looking for an answer to all my questions.
