Turn signal/running light failure

So I just noticed that my driver side front running light was not on, however the same light turns on when the blinker in activated...so basically the light appears to be bad but isn’t, does that make sense and what’s the deal?

There are 2 filaments in the park turn bulbs so yes the park can be out and the turn signal still works.... or the other way around also

So your saying I should try replacing the bulb?

Yes I would start there and see if that is the problem.

FYI thanks for the info, finally got around to changing the bulb and that took care of the issue.

PS bulbs are not exactly easy to change lol.
