Look in the settings under Lighting, some trucks have the option for the sound/chime

Gotta look at mine. Hope there is a setting for that cause I’ve got the same thing. Even though I know I pushed the stalk I sometimes look for the light to see if the signals are flashing. It ids that quiet.
Thanks for the suggestion @crash68

Funny, I think this is a market reaction as some used to say it was too loud...
My 23' Warlock Classic is deafening loud... the way that dang clicker makes noise when signaling.
I'd love to be able to make it whisper quiet, or better yet, non-existent altogether!

My 15 I barely notice it making noise until it's left on too long then it pops up on the EVIC.
I wonder if there's settings for the turn signal sound/volume that can be changed with AlfaOBD in the Gen4 trucks.

Tried the turn the volume up/down while clicking. No joy.

Tried the factory reset. No joy.

May have to try reading the owners manual or uconnect manual and see if it has any help.

Oh no not the owners manual!!

I can't find anything related to turn signal sounds in the soft version of the owner's manual for my 4th gen.

I'm pretty sure its an old school mechanism not a digital speaker making old sounds

Interesting. I had a 2010 Silverado and the sound was generated by the computer and came from the drivers side via door speaker.
With your thought I think I’ll look for the actual source of the clickity click.

AI says this,

Some owners of the 2020 Ram report that the turn signal volume is too low, and there is no built-in setting to increase it; suggestions include checking with a dealer or using visual cues on the dashboard instead.

Sounds mechanical to me, but as we know, our vehicles of today don't use the old school relays/flashers like they did back in the day....

If that's the case, I'd have to assume my aftermarket HU and Maestro iDatalink modules carry over the "simulated" blinker sound through the speakers via some sort of CanBus wizardry...

Are we talking 5th or 4th gen for you AND the OP?

The sound you hear is the relay clicking on and off for the turn signal.

It definitely sounds like a relay, but I have yet to locate it in a service manual.

IIRC, I did search for the relay. Or, was that 25 other things I was looking for?

Then again, it almost seems like they use irregular terms to conceal various components.

How many terms can we use to search for turn signal relay?

Found it for a 2013-2016 Ram 1500.

The EMIC is aka the Electro-Mechanical Information Center.

Faking the relay clicking on and off.. Just make it silent. The visual indication of it being on is enough. It used to bother me but now I don’t even hear it.
