Uconnect / Bluetooth / microphone issue

Good morning all. I recently purchased a 2011 5.7 Bighorn (factory radio/no screen) that will not connect to Bluetooth. The microphone does not seem to recognize any of my voice commands. I am getting either NO RESPONSE or "MIS-RECOGNITION". I’m looking for a starting point to address the issue before I bring it to a dealer.
