Can you send the POI remotely through Google? I have 2017, Android Auto wasnt available..

I don't see any benefit to subscribe to un-connect. Nearly everyone I have come in contact with that has it says that it's so buggy it's almost useless on top of being expensive.

18 months no probs..I use it to lock my truck from bed if I forget or think I forgot. Send n Go has worked flawlessly as has remote start from within box store to cool her down while I checkout..

The taxes or the $75 renewal? If it the former, don't take it out on FCA, take it out on Taxachussetts politicians at the polls. Seems like FCA gave you a good deal on latter renewal.

It depends. If there was $25 in STATE taxes, then yes, blame taxachusetts. If it's a $3.90 Mass tax plus a 911 fee, a Federal usage tax, a Federal fee, a special fee fee, and a few others, then it's not the state.

I enjoyed the remote start feature when it worked which was about 50-60% of the time and the unlock.
But it was not worth the excess cost for the service. We kept it on my wifes Jeep for the winter time use
of starting it when she gets ready to leave work and the remote does not reach were she parks.
Many times I'd like the remote start feature but I'm just not willing to pay for it when it is not reliable,

I called to renew the Uconnect subscription for my 2016 Ram. This would have been my 3rd renewal since new. The fee is almost $150/annual. I feel its an awful lot for what it does, and several audio features don't work because it needs a software update.
But, what really put on the brakes was a $111.00 California tax on top of it all. Outrageous! No more Uconnect for me, I'm done.

That tax is outrageous! I don't think the yearly cost that bad. Cheaper than OnStar for a year on my Cadillac.

One thing to also remember is that if you are in an area with weak cell coverage the 911 button or the Uconnect operator button may connect you when you cell phone won't I believe that system uses a fill 3 watt cellular transmitter vs the the .6 watts that most all cell phones have. In an emergency that could be important.
