Uconnect freezing / rebooting on starting

2022 RAM 1500 with 12" Uconnect. When starting truck using remote start, the Uconnect system will be running when I get in the truck then freeze typically when I put truck in reverse. System will eventually try to reboot but never successfully. When the screen does come back up, sometimes it is moving / dancing around, other times it will come back to the last screen that was up but no menu buttons, so you cannot control HVAC, radio, nothing. The radio will be on but you can only control volume. The only solution has been to turn truck off for a period of time then start normally.

This has been going on intermittently for nearly a year and seems to be getting worse. I don't recall if does it when starting normally (no remote start). I want to say it has but it's not as common as when starting with remote start.

My Uconnect version is FCA-MY24.U35.26-PROD. Is this the latest version? I am, and have been all along, connected to home WiFi.

Appreciate any guidance on this. I did not want to take to dealer yet until I had more information to provide to them so I can avoud the dreaded "can't reproduce the issue".

If by dancing around you mean the top menu bar and lower menu bar disapear and the center area bounces up and down, yeah I had that... You may be able to just log out of your profile and create a new one and try that, see if it helps, if not do a full factory reset. I did a full factory reset and that helped for a while, then they pushed an update and it came back, but I was able to just log out of my profile, delete it and create a new one, that resolved it for me the second time, and since I have not had it come back...
