Hi Everyone,
I have a 2016 Ram 1500. I'm looking to swap out my current 8.4A VP3 RA3 radio for one that is Navigation enabled. Anyone know of a compatible one for sale. TIA

If navigation is all you are after you can actually activate it on that radio(for a fee), it's pre loaded.

With that said it's going to be outdated and you will need to also purchase the latest maps. To be honest if you are looking for good navigation, the factory option is not the best. You would be much better off with something on your phone or a stand alone nav unit.

Thanks for the info, Have already checked and was informed that Uconnect stopped pre-loading the navigation shortly before i purchased my truck.

That interesting, my neighbor had the navigation actived on his 2017 1500, nav is preloaded into all the Harmon based radios. Only thing that didn't work was the dashboard turn-by-turn.
I'm thinking infotainment maybe telling you it wasn't pre-loaded to sell you an "upgraded" radio.
As mentioned you would be further ahead buying something else than dealing with the crappy OEM navigation w/outdated maps.
It would be worth to upgrade to a UAS or UAQ from an '18 or newer truck. That would give you AndroidAuto and/or CarPlay ability, the radio media hub would also need to be upgraded. There's no programming needed, just a wiring adapter for the media hub.
The navigation through AndroidAuto/CarPlay has the advantage of real time data and up to date maps.
