Just bought a 2014 Ram 1500 and couldn't be happier with the truck itself. At the time I went with the cheaper model because I didn't have the resources for the 500 extra features I wouldn't use. I planed on getting what I wanted over time like remote start. I started doing research on the Uconnect and have read Ram owners are unable to upgrade/replace Uconnect radios they want. I had wanted to instal a backup camera but this now seems impossible. I found one video were someone with uconnect 5.0 had a reverse camera. Had anyone found a way to instal a backuo camera?
Like I said, I love the truck but though it could be upgraded with a backup camera that comes in most vehicles today. Little scary that its 2014 and we can do less with cars today than 10 years ago.
