Tried connecting my iPhone 4S to my uconnect today and it connected no problem calls went through great. But when I went to play the music it was all distorted and skipped like a bad cd. Can anyone tell me what the problem is. I have a similar system in my Camaro and it works flawlessly. Also it didn't come with a back up camera can I install one? Thanks. And the truck is a 2011.

Which radio do you have, chances are there is firmware upgrade to fix the streaming issue.

I have the 8.4A and I tried it last night with my iPhone 5 with iOS 7 for the first time and it worked flawlessly.

Mopar has a kit for the camera that requires the truck to be flashed after install or you can go with aftermarket plate camera or install camera in tailgate handle, this will also require purchase of lockpik going this route but no dealer visit. also lockpik will give you video viewing and nav entry while in motion.

Chris, it's still weird seeing you post about stuff you're doing with your truck lol.

As for the topic...I have the same Radio as Chewy and I have the iPhone 4S as well, never had any problems with it. I would reccommend trying it with a friend's iPhone. If it works then the problem is most likely your phone. If the radio still doesn't work, call the dealership.

I have the same problems with my 2011. Although, I do not have an iphone, the streaming of mp3 was butchered.
My calls were good, and all else worked.
My USB ports did not work though. I have tried to download mp3's to the hard drive through USB, no go. Tried listening through USB, no go. The system doesn't even recognize them.
I have been searching for a firmware upgrade, but, cannot seem to find one. Almost feels like UConnect doesn't want me to upgrade.

That's very odd. It sounds like it might be an issue with the 2011 Uconnect then.
