‘22 1500 Limited 12” screen. So I’ve taken my truck to the dealer atleast 10 times. Changed screen, module, cables, and antenna 2-3 times. When I connect my iPhone 16 pro to it the only volume setting that stays the same is the radio. They are now saying it’s my phone. Well guess what it does it on my wife’s 16 pro max and my business iPhone 12. The shop Forman says it doesn’t change with his iPhone 11! I just shook my head. Anyone else having this issue. I’m over taking it back to the dealer! Oh I had taken it to another dealer the first time and they changed everything and when they broke the charging port that’s why I went to a second dealer.

Most new electronics are overly complex IMO. I kinda suspect there's a setting buried very deep in your phone that might solve this. You might have better luck posting this issue in an iPhone Forum. It 'sounds' to me like the dealer has done enough to eliminate the truck as the source of the problem, and if the SF can use his own iPhone 11 and it works just fine, then............

But if I use a 12 or another 16 and it does the same thing then I don’t believe it’s the phone…

THAT's ^^^^^ the huge clue IMO. If the SF is being accurate and truthful, then something in the software or setup likely changed from 11 to 12.

Out of the FWIW department and IMHO...
Whenever I connect my late-model Android phone, and even the older phone I traded-in, to the radio/system/uconnect in my 2014 Laramie, it always defaults
to zero volume from the phone, no matter what I am trying to play through the phone. I have always had to get something playing and adjust the volume to an even higher level than when listening to AM/FM/XM.

I most often listen to radio at a volume level of 6 - 12, and occasionally higher but it's rare.

When I connect my phone I find that 15 is a very low level and 18-21 is a normal level. 21-25 is generally pretty banging.
My phone's volume is always set to max volume when connected so it is never that.

I don't know, I've never looked for a solution, just lived with it. It really would be nice though if the level of 6-10 worked when the phone was connected as well.

I have the factory Alpine Premium sound system, 19 speakers and a 900-watt amplifier, no mods to either the sound system nor the Uconnect/dashboard.

EDITED to add: I will say that if I turn the truck off at a volume of "6" it will still be on "6" when I turn it on again, so it does remember that at least.

I’ve ran into issues with texts and calls being various volumes while driving. I’ll get one text at the correct volume (6) and the next text I have to crank it up to 33 to hear it. Along with not saving my set volumes.
