So I’ll be removing the lift kit this week (going back to 31.5” tire and stock height as the truck is taking a turn for performance instead of lifted life). Big question is can I run the truck without the lower front crossmember not bolted in for now? I ask because I will need to go to a salvage yard and cut the pieces out of a donor truck I need, because if you remember we have to cut the ears off the lower part of the frame to install control arm drop bracket. This is the small crossmember that has 4 bolts under the oil pan.

Not much info on lift size etc. but if you are going from a 6” lift with drop brackets down to stock, and intend to keep the lifted brackets, i would say that probably wont work very well. Getting a spot on alignment may be impossible.
