In general no. Way too close to be a safe choice. My 96 2500 with the high rise canopy fit in a 7' garage door, my 2021 2500 with the same canopy needs an 8' door. The newer trucks are definitely taller.i have just bought a 2019 ram 1500 classic express 4x4 crew cab 5.6box with a 5.7L Hemi
will it fit in a 6'4" under ground?
MY 19, DT, Bighorn, stock, stock size tires, no air, sitting as bought is a lil over 77" tall at the very top of the "satellite" hump. I actually tried to get into a garage in Atlantic City and "plunked" the bar that was stretched to show height, so I definitely learned my lesson and measured to the top of the truck. I would not again try to make it in a garage that had say under an inch of clearance, as U never know how accurate the measurements are and any other things hanging down.i have just bought a 2019 ram 1500 classic express 4x4 crew cab 5.6box with a 5.7L Hemi

WANNA have fun, try driving through narrow Bavarian Towns with Big American trucks, Hummers, M35A2's, Tanks, lots of money paid out for maneuver damage, especially during the Reforger years. Them there corners tight, LOL.I have a 2021 1500 Laramie crew cab with a 6’4” bed, a bigger tire on an 18” wheel and about a 3” lift. While I haven’t had many times where my truck didn’t fit height wise, I’m careful and try to stay at about 7’, what I have issues with is how tight some of these garages are. In Seattle, where I’ll be in a week, there are garages I avoid. Turns can be single narrow lanes on both sides a there are times there isn’t enough room to get into or out of a space. I would rather put it on the street and walk.
Exactly, and none of those is under 6 foot 4 inches, shorterst is 6 foot 6, unless the classics are actually quite a bit shorter.Heights are according to FCA:
Common build with 275/55r20 78”
Off road package with 275/55r20 79.2”
Rebel with 18” rims 79.7”
The only true way to know is to get a straight edge like a 2x4 or long piece of metal, put it on the highest point of your roof, such as the plastic antennae on the roof place a level on top of your straight edge and measure the distance from the bottom of the straight edge to the ground. I wrote my measurement on a piece of tape and stick it inside my center console to remind me of the height. My 2019 laramie 4x4 , with aftermarket 305x55x20 tires with a front level kit highest point is 6'8"i have just bought a 2019 ram 1500 classic express 4x4 crew cab 5.6box with a 5.7L Hemi
