Well today i heard they had to shave or plane the heads on my truck. So, that means they were warped, and thats due to heat i take it? BUt i have a question if i can get this truck back for real cheap is it still worth it? or since the heads were warped to heat could other engine problems flair up in the future?

Shaving heads will most likely result in a bit higher compression ratio depending on how much they had to shave off. But if anything that'll help you out. You should be fine though.

One mechanical failure does not mean the truck is a POS.
Could have been a fluke. My friend had an injector die on his Cummins.
The truck was and still is a beast, mechanical components fail.

These things happen. If you like the truck, and get a good price on it, I'd say go for it.
