Proud owner of a 2020 Bighorn 1500 Quad Cab with the 5.7 Hemi purchased early September. My wife liked the idea of a mid size truck so we test drove a Ridgeline, Colorado and new Ranger. None of them impressed us. I know many people with an F150 and figured we’d end up with one but I really wanted a non turbo and the 5.0’s are hard to find around here. We did drive a 2.7 turbo XLT package and it wasn’t bad but then the salesman showed us the Ram. After a test drive I was done looking. It came equipped with some niceties like heated steering wheel and seats, spray in bed liner and adjustable tie downs on rails, but the engine is the true star! I wanted the 6.4’ bed as we will be doing some extended travel starting next year -COVID permitting - and will be using the truck as a hotel room some of the time. We bought a truck bed tent and air mattress and it’s great having a little extra room (we’ve already done a couple of weekend camping trips).
