Is this standard for Ram trucks. I have a 2015 1500. My issue is small but annoying. When ever I want to charge my phone from the USB plug Once I plug the phone end in I have to unplug and plug back in the USB end to get power. Is there a fix for this?

Yeah, try plugging the USB into the phone first, then plug the other end into the truck.

It does the same thing on my truck.

Same problem here. I leave a cord in the truck plugged in. Won’t charge unless I unplug and replug. I decided to use a usb dongle in the 12V instead.

Might be right on that. I and my family all have Android devices and have never seen that issue.

Moto turbo, Moto g5 and Moto g6 always work.

The wife has an iPhone so far seems to work all the time.
