USB relocating

I'm just finishing up a floor console swap and dont want to lose the usb port that is on the dash, was thinking about maybe relocating it but there is very little wire, has anybody done this it would probably make it to the upper glove box...atleast it would be usable if needed

Yes. I can't remember where, maybe Crutchfield or Amazon, there is a kit you can buy that comes with an extension and bezel and instructions for installation. Wasn't very expensive either if I remember correctly.
