I have a 2018 3.0 Ecodiesel, and am trying to access with AlphaOBD. When I want to select my truck, is it the 2018 DT/DS option? I do have the security bypass cable

Yes.

DS is the Ram Classic 4th gen body style, and DT is the 5th gen body.

Unless i am mistaken.

I have 2019 Ram classic (tradesman) and decided to upgrade the basic instrument to premium
I have alfaobd and obdlink EX everything seems ok ,the app can connect with cable but when I want to set the old mileage to new cluster, Even though I follow all the steps correctly, after a few seconds it gives the message "procedure failed" and nothing happens , could you please help me?

Are you using a Security Gateway Bypass harness?

All Ram trucks 2018+ have a Security Gateway Module that must be bypassed.

The KaodTech Security Bypass cable is a popular choice and what I have been using.

I installed it 1.5 years ago and leave it coiled up behind the cover below the steering column.

The only message received is what you have mentioned, "Procedure Failed".

When you use a Security Gateway bypass harness, AlfaOBD will confirm the success completion of each operation.

AlfaOBD will function with any of the trucks using the CAN bus architecture, up to and including the 2024 model year.

Only the 2025 trucks use a different system and will not be accessible.

The 2018 to 2024 model years require a Security Gateway bypass harness.

The big advantage of the KaodTech harness is that it connects directly to the CAN bus blocks beside/behind the OBD2 port, regardless of where the Security Gateway Module is located.

And, the installation only requires a few minutes and can remain installed.

Installation directions can be downloaded in a PDF format from the site linked above or from the attached docs.

Keep in mind that if you ever expect to visit a dealer for warranty work or service, don't remove/replace the factory OBD2 port. Temporarily plug the bypass cable into the OBD2 port and coil the harness and stash it behind the dash when not in use.
