Anyone try this? It seems pretty smart and possibly better than a fumoto.

Definitely a cool idea, bummer they don't have anything handy for handling the oil filter. I can drain the pan without getting a drop on the ground....it's the oil filter that's a PITA

One of my friends just posted about that on instagram... specifically that his is drippy.

Never heard of a Fumoto leaking. I still run a plug because I can run a magnetic plug but if I was going to run a valve it would be a Fumoto

I have one on my gasser motor home and love it. I like that it has a screw on cap as added protection, and is pretty snug to the oil pan. I've not had any drip issues in 33K miles of use (six oil changes). I love the fact that I can drain the oil using a hose to the drain pan instead of having it splatter all over the chassis. The design of the Ford F53 motor home chassis wasn't friendly at all for oil changes. I can now drain hot oil without any mess at all.

Agreed the filter is a problem child. Wish they were all like my Outback with the filter on top of the engine. I like the idea of the simplicity just the leap of faith that none will leak.

I installed the valvomax like in the previously posted photo with no issues at all...makes draining almost fun.

I saw on another forum that a member had a drip until he properly torqued the drain valve then problem solved.
