So I've finally committed to buying a Vararam CAI. My question is how good is the filter in comparison to like the Volant filter which I know is awesome. Also where is everyone getting their Vararam's from for the best price?

Right now the only was to get one is from Vararam, and it runs $349. I believe at the end of January is when they will release it to vendors then you will have more options to buy.

I wired mine through the lift brackets and over to the drivers side, up through the frame, behind the fender, then came into the cab through the firewall. Then I mounted the module underneath the center console.

There are other ways to run the wire but that's how I did mine.

It really wasn't bad, but I'm pretty particular with not being able to see ANY wires.

i ran my along side the brake lines... zipties galore.
ran up along to the battery and ran a fuse and tied directly into the + on the battery with a ground to the body. I left the module in a cubby hole on the firewall side of the battery
