When cold air hits the radiator most of it escapes to the sides i added two plastic air baffles to catch most of it and up into the intake..

I feel like mine is never officially connected fully. I need to be able to climb inside the engine, close the hood and have a light to look for gaps haha.

our engine bays are so big you might can if you’re small enough! Never thought about these things though. Might need to do something like this to mine.

Haha I've thought about trying my cell phone with the flash on with a video. But not sure I'd be able to tell whats going on.

So you also cut off the front radiator cover off the intake? I wonder if that helps. But then why would they put it there? I was looking at mine and it seems to sort of hang sticking out forward which actually it seems like it might disrupt the flow.

Yeh i never liked that i think it creates turbulent uneven air and at speed air gets trapped under it lifts it up . It also rubs on the condenser not good look at the second pic its pretty bad.

Loosely crumble some aluminum foil along the edge leaving it tall. Close the hood then open it and see how much the foil compressed. That’s how much gap you have between the hood and your filter housing.

Might give that a shot. I tried the chalk idea but don't feel like it really was super accurate and mostly just made a chalk mess everywhere.

The rubber seals and trim can be ordered from "Steel Rubber Products"
Super glue gel also bonds the rubber to rubber if you clean it first with alcohol.
That's how I built my seals from scratch to seal to the hood bottom.
You can see where I married two pieces together to make it tall enough to reach the bottom of the hood, after several years it's still as bonded as the day I did it.
In fact, once the glue cures, the rubber will rip before the bond.
