It will fix that, or at least dramatically improve it! :)

Good cause I'm not really in it to gain a whole bunch of horsepower.. I had a WRX before this and a tune would get you around 50 whp/tq.. so coming from that to this I do not have high hopes.. I just want responsiveness..

My neighbors have ecoboost f150s and I know they will walk all over me with just a tune, it would take almost every bolt on for me to compete (even then just maybe). So I'm being realistic as I have owned a car that is probably the most responsive to a pro tune. If the people in this thread are expecting gains like that then you should of bought an ecoboost.

However being the HEMI has been around so long at this point and in so many cars and trucks I figured you would get at least 20 whp..

Uuuuhhh, that's alot of pressure! J/k. I had a Bullydog for a year, then went to a DS with HF tune. Night and day! Though the Bd canned tune was very good, the HF tune is a big step up.

Anyone doing a "Custom Tune" for your Ram would be using Diablo's CMR (Chip Master Revolution) software anyway, and you would still need a device to save your stock tune if you needed to go back to stock for warranty/service work.

unless you want to run back to your tuner everytime and get charged for each visit. :insane:

I LOVE my Trinity, not just for custom tuning but for changing tire sizes when I swap my drag radials on for a track day.
I also use it to max out my throttle sensitivity, disable traction control 100% , turn of MDS and monitor several parameters like LT and ST Knock, trans temperature, coolant temperature, intake air temperature...etc.
(not to mention Data logging, clearing trouble codes, 0-60 testing)

That's a mod worth every penny to me
Maybe they were just "That Much" better for pre 2012 Hemi Rams ?
(Before Dodge's encrypted PCM lockdown)

Still you really only buying it for a custom tune. My $20 Torque app can data log, monitor every parameters, clear codes, 0-60 times etc.

And do this

I have a Itune and like it so far, but really hoping a custom tune will make it worth having.

On the contrary, a "Custom Tune" is the ONLY thing I never used in 3 years
...until I got my Supercharger last Summer. (that came with tuning)

I was perfectly fine with a 13 second ram on just a canned tune for 3 years
(RCSB 4x4 with ****** 3.55 gears with intake/catback and cannned Diablo 93 tune)

Does your Torque app work on a 4G Hemi Ram?

Yeah, for now the canned is not bad. Made drive and feel way better than stock.

I will be doing a custom tune soon to see what that does...

Yes the app works on my ram. Works on any car with a OBD2 from 1996+
Get the app for $5 and bluetooth obd2 adapter for $15-20 on ebay and your set.
