Trying to get more of a audio idea of what it is.

Are you referring to the sewing machine sound associated with a multi dispacement motor with a cam that didnt change out the lifters?

I see the pattern now that you mentioned it.
What i thought i had that a sewing machine might not be due to being a 04. Truck has too many sounds LOL. Guess i gotta check for exhaust leaks.

Ya could be a gulled pushrod or exhaust leak
