I have the tonno pro loroll on my ram and we're supposed to get a pretty nasty snow storm tonight. Is there a limit on the amount of snow I should let stay on the cover? I was thinking about rolling it up and letting the snow fall in the bed but that doesn't seam smart once I really think about it... I just don't want the cover collapsing in from the weight of the snow..

I wouldn't let more than 5 or 6 inches build up. A lot of variables, but on average...

~29 sq ft in a 5'7" bed

1" = 5.2 lb/sq ft = 145# of snow
3" = 15.6 lb/sq ft = 452# of snow
6" = 31lb/sq ft. = 899# of snow
8" = 41lb/sq ft = 1189# of snow
12" = 62.4 lb/sq ft = 1809# of snow

If you think you are going to get that much snow in one night, just roll it up.

Not saying it's a good thing, but iv had prolly 6-7" of snow on mine multiple times and had zero issues with my bed cover. It is a regular vinyl tri fold.

I wouldn't not be too worried. My Truxedo lo pro has metal bars every foot or so and I dont see some snow behind those. I remember seeing an ad when they first came out with people standing on it.

I guess you could do the math. How much does it cost to clear the snow off a couple of times during the snow storm of the century "depending on where you are, no location in your sig." vs. the cost of a new cover? Or you could roll it up.

i wouldnt worry about it. ive had a ton of snow on the vinyl cover on my old truck. the bars in the middle flex down with the weight but once you brush it off it goes back to normal.
