Issue I am having is that I have reached out to 2 different dealers and they both keep telling me there are no parts for order yet when I call the ram service number I got from the Ram app, they say the dealer just has to order them and they usually arrive in about a week. Who or where can I call so I can get this done since I have been dealing with this for over 4 months now with no progress.

Situation: Bought a 2020 Ram 1500 built to serve exactly a year ago, a recall (W95) was sent out regarding the suspension. Basically stated they did not include the appropriate leaf springs, which I paid for, therefore it needs to be brought in for a quick change out.

I'm not up to date on recalls at all, but did I read that last part right? Not having the appropriate leaf springs? Our trucks have coil spring suspension so I'm not sure what that recall is referring to, unless I'm missing something?

Otherwise sounds like at a minimum the dealerships your tried to get service from were less than stellar.

My guess is the Ram customer service person you talked to on the phone has no clue what the current inventory status is, they are just quoting normal order times vs the dealer actually trying to get the part and finding it on back order?

And it is coil springs, not leaf.

Maybe @RamCares can help you out?

The Parts Dept.
is was behind on getting parts
I am waiting on parts for my Eco diesel & it has been months since it was ordered.
I have to hope my eco-diesel does not take a crap, before the part comes in
There are thousands of others waiting on the same part

agree with your assessment.

that was the explanation i received from the number i called. they were also kind enough to give me the parts that needed to be replaced if that helps pinpoint the recall
