Want to tint factory LED tail light on my Ram 1500

I have the factory LED taillights and I am looking to tint the lenses. I have seen a vinyl and spray paints and not sure the which would be the best option. I know there are after market parts/kits I could buy but trying to save a little money on this Mod as I am already getting in trouble with wife. Lol Any suggestions, guidance, experience or etc would be greatly appreciated!

Local shops all over by me offer tail light tinting for like 100 bucks which is pretty cheap. I’d look into having it professionally done.
