Wanting to replace a 2015 2500 SB with a RamBox

I want to replace a standard 6'4" short bed with a RamBox version on my 15 2500, I've had several discussion with the service department, collision repair and even Ram customer service on this replacement, Ram was no help and the service center thinks it will be a nightmare to get the RamBox locks to work and programming the computer. Has anyone had experience with this?

in the hunt for a crazy person that would trade my regular bed for a rambox bed or if anyone has seen a wrecked one i have a professional painter that im friends with. i have a 2016 ram 1500 outdoorsman granite crystal metallic, like i said this is just a shot in the dark. thanks
