were can i find more infor on the bumper to bumper, and the powertrain warranty. the RAM website just gives the overview of the warranty, id like to find what will void it, and so on. the dealer told me as long as i dont screw with emmisions (CATS) or the o2 sensors, im fine but i do all my own maint. Oil and fluids and what not.
and i was thinkn even if i have reciepts for buyn oil and stuff, how can they prove i put it in the truck. as dum as that may sound, i dont wanna go the the dealer and have them tell me, i havent been to the dealer for my scheduled maint so were not gunna cover it.
has an one here with a 09 and up had any warranty issues?

I think as long as you can provide receipts for what ever you did then they have to cover it and if something fails then they have to prove that the mod you did made the part fail.

Be careful by law they can't void your warranty by you doing your own maintenance on your vehicle but they'll try. My dealership is trying to tell me my warranty is void now because i do my own maintenance and never brought it to THEM for its scheduled maintenance. If they void my warranty ill get sema involved. They find reasons to void your warranty when you don't spend your money on them. But there is people out there like sema who can help.

federal law requires they honor warranty, a $200 letter from an attorney will change your relationship with your dealer for the rest of your business dealings. Money well spent

basically the way i look at it anymore with dealers is cover your ass so if they do try to screw you, you have all the info to prove them wrong
