I have a 2010 Ram with some bolt on installed. I have been reading a little on water **** an have some buddies running it on there truck also. I was wondering if anyone on here has any experience with a kit on your truck or has any info on running these kits or are they even worth it?

The only way **** injection would help is on boosted applications not running race gas all the time. **** helps with octane rating to prevent detonation

I know a lot of guys that run it on diesel due to lower egt's and power. But as far a stock gas situations, not sure it's worth the hassle.

I don't have a **** setup on my RAM, but have had a Snow Stage 3 setup on my Jeep for a couple of years. Before that I ran a mix of 91 pump and Lucas Octane Boost year round, for several years. More economical than ****. No difference in performance. Same motor, blower, boost, and over 800 to the wheels. But it really has nothing to do with boost. Typically you want to increase your octane to run more timing. Timing equals power. But too much timing and not enough octane is what causes destructive detonation. And yes you can get more power on a NA motor by increasing both octane and timing, but I'd recommend getting a custom tune from a competent tuner. They'll keep you in a safe zone.

Yep, need to have forced induction or some other heavy mod that can make use of the higher octane. It definitely made a noticeable difference on my pro-charged 1500 for sure; picked up over 30HP.
