I have water coming in under the dash inside the firewall passenger side when it rains. Def not antifreeze. Wondering if this has a common cause. The windshield is pitted pretty badly so I will get the windshield replaced and see if that cures it. Thanks for any help.

I had this problem, it's the windshield seal plastic moulding at the base of the screen. I put some clear caulk along it and the problem went away...

Hopefully the sealant just dried and shriveled, plus a new windShield will be much Easier on the eyes.

How’s the rust situation ?

I’m guessing you are in Mass ?

The truck is generally in good shape rust wise. There is some rust around the wheel wells and rockers. Floors and cab mounts are really clean, as are the doors. I haven’t seen any rust on the cab higher than the rockers.
