I have 2006 Ram 2500. My problem is that my drivers side headlight is not as bright as the passengers side headlight. I was told it was a headlight grounding issue but I’m not sure how to correct or check this approach. It could be a bad TIPM but this appears to be the only issue with lights I have currently. I already checked both and replaced both bulbs with newer more powerful bulbs since it’s hard to see on the country roads I travel. Any suggestions?

If you have access to a meter, you can back probe the headlight plug while the light is on to check how much voltage is available there. If the voltage is low, then move your black probe to the battery ground. If the voltage then looks OK, that would indicate poor grounding of the headlight.
