So far over 1000 plus miles this weekend from PA to SC and on way home now. Getting 20mpg thru all the hills of WV with cruise at 77mph. I was pretty surprised that I was getting this thru all the mountains and the whole weekend average.

The ride was great and comfortable. I have the 3.55 I think it is. Enjoying that mileage until I put lift and 35’s on Haha

You have the Hemi V8?

My ‘19 Laramie 4x4 is drinking gas. Max of 14.5 on long highway trips. My gauge stays around 12.5 - 13 avg.

You were in SC over the weekend? Didn't see ya wave... :anitoof:

I had to run down to FL Friday to meet the daughter and pick up the granddaughter. haven't had calculated, but the EVIC showed 21.0 on the way down. But that was with the A/C and MDS off. On the way back, I hit 21.4 with A/C and MDS on. Both times the cruise was set at 70. Seems like MDS saves a little gas at least.

I have the old '09 Hemi with the 5spd and 3.55 gears.

I thought the 3.55 gear ratio was only for the V6? What model did you get? For the Limited, only the 3.21 and 3.92's were available.

Hand calculated might be bit lower. Hemi with the 3:21 is a nice combo though.

I'm not used to a truck with good mileage lol.

Last truck would get 12/13 on the highway at best.
35's, Roush blower, 4.10 gears.

Big Horn 2wd, Hemi with 3.92s. Drove my truck home from the dealer in the Atlanta area on Saturday, then took the kids up to Nashville Sunday. 700 miles on the truck, mostly all interstate and major highways. Avg is 20.6 MPG so far.

The 3.92s make a significant difference of course at higher speed. The Charger Scat Pack I traded in had the 8 speed as well was geared way differently (not sure the ratio). The Charger putzed along at about 1500-1600 RPM at 80 mph, the Ram is about 2300-2400 or so. But the Charger would hit triple digit speeds before you could blink though, so there's that! :)

The charger would have been 3.09. My challenger was the same plus I added a d1sc procharger to mine lol

Sounds about right, I was thinking it was somewhere right around 3.00. Procharger huh! Nice! Those cars are a lot of fun, wish I could have afforded to keep it and get this truck.
