Great commercial and I actually like the styling, but it's gotta be a RCSB to really be sporty imo. Otherwise, it just looks like another contractor's work truck.
They'll release some RCSB's, but you won't be able to find one on a lot unless it's by happen-stance.

haha, I'm currently on the hunt for a RCSB, so I know how hard they are to find.
I think it'd be awesome if they offered RC, QC, and CC, but it ain't gonna happen. I think it's badass they stepped up and are actually brining these things to market, especially the 6.2 and 6.4, but you're never gonna please everybody...and I think they found a great middle ground.

They need to roll this wheelbase design out as an option on the regular line because it's awesome - you get all the advantage of the front-seat roominess, still get a usable back seat and a flat floor when you fold up the seats, with the bed size that you get on the crew cab and lops off over a foot on the length. I don't need to go 175 MPH but the wheelbase arrangement would be perfect for me these days - easier fit into the garage, easier parking in the stupid tight Lowe's parking lots, still get a usable flat floor for the occasional stuff that needs to ride in the front like tools and my dog still has a great back seat.

And don't forget, it could even be a tax deductible expense. My current RAM is indeed a tax deduction, fully legitimate, fully deductible. Depends on your situation (and vocation), of course.

There is currently no regular cab being produced in the half ton platform. You have to step up to a 2500 to get one.

So most of these will be e-torque? The see the base in the 60k's would be very desirable, then mandate e-torque not for me. I didn't even catch where they did or didn't mention it, I guess now lets just avoid discussing e-torque maybe they wont notice. But since the lie was they are going to have to retool Atlantis to take non e-torque, how did they do it for the 470hp version, or did they? Time will tell, more info needed. It's bad enough all of these will have the new kill switches as all cars/trucks will have them, lets hope we don't add e-torque as well. Maybe I read 3 times see if they mention it.

Ram has stripped the eTorque 48-volt mild-hybrid system out of the Rumble Bee and is now calling this engine Eagle in a star-spangled rebrand. While this model lacks the specialized performance hardware of the 392 Track Pack and the SRT, it gets the full benefit of the stance, style, and low ride height baked into the platform.

So I concur, this is killer affordable and no e-torque, wow OP nice post.

Sadly, the participants of this world we now occupy, can't stand it when there are things they cannot control, especially those who run the Mothership.
The kill switch is so a LEO can shut you down in a chase, purportedly. I just wonder, How much of the overall, nationwide traffic stop industry involves a chase? 1%? 2%? yeah! But let's treat all drivers like they're criminals! That'll do the trick! Throw out the baby with the bathwater.

Oh, sure, I've seen the videos that garner horrification of chases where a bad crash happens.
In addition to the kill switch, the "Nannies" of the world have brought it to pass that passive alcohol sensors now can result in the vehicle being disabled and LEO notified. So what if you have perfume or aftershave on! Whast if you're the designated driver and you load up 3 drunks in the car? Hmm?

I LIKE my freedom! I CHERISH that they can't make these decisions FOR me. But, then, I AM law abiding and don't give Officer Friendly a reason to chase me OR do a field sobriety check!

In a nutshell, I wonder just how huge the demand will get for older model cars/trucks where a driver can make his/her own decisions. There! Rant over!

No doubt. I remember when the very first hellcat chargers and challengers came out they were like $60k. I have no doubt these rumblebees will be well over $100k. If they'd make them affordable to the average dip$h!t like myself without having a payment more than my mortgage I'd be knocking down the door of my dealership right now

Guess what happens when you look at failure data? Random distribution. Non-MDS cylinders vs MDS cylinders shows no difference in which is most likely to fail.

When I was doing my research on V8s, when I was focusing on GMC, a video I watch pointed out the summation of my conclusions.

GMC (Corvette vs the Trucks) is somehow now making the best and the worst V8s in industry history.

Sarcasm is not necessary. If I had bought a V8, I'm sure I would be just as defensive.
