So I got my truck properly washed and waxed yesterday, so it was obviously time today for a photoshoot!

In case you're wondering about the mud on the tire, I was trying to get up to the access road to get to the pond and sunk it. :flame:

Truck cleaned up real well. I clayed it, then used Adam's Revive hand polish, then Adam's Liquid Sealant, then topped that all off with Meguiar's Gold Class Carnuba wax. Came out well I'd say for old paint.

Whats the point of blocking out your license plate when you can read it in the reflection on the chrome bumper?

It came out nice, a lot better with all the trim painted. Next you need cab lights. :party36:

Because you can't fully read it in the reflection and it's garbled because of it. :devilfinger:

Thanks guys! And I think the trim painted black allows the red to stand out more. And no, no cab lights. No need and I don't want to hack my roof up.

Bout to get the hose out, my dry towel and my brush and I'm going to clean up my oopsie from earlier.

On the tires, not the seat. :devilfinger:

Don't mean to jack this thread, but I see the sticker on back window. Where do you train Krav Maga at? I live in East Texas, too, and my youngest son trains MMA and would love to take KM. He has always wanted to do that.

No prob.

East Texas Krav Maga here in Tyler. It's not the only one around anymore since my instructors "exclusivity" contract ran out, but it's the best one.

How do all these young guys (no pun intended) get into all these nice vehicles? I see people with ages listed as in their very early 20's in $$40-$50k trucks (?) I wish I had a pretty, straight and good running -anything- when I was that old!

Other than that, looking good!

Regarding the KM, in my experience and exposure to that discipline, it is really a hard core combat format intended to break more often than to produce a "submit" lock, choke or tapout hold. So, it may not be the best for MMA, but any cross training is good, IMHO. But, the Police / Military instruction I was receiving , while being effective in a "real world" no holds barred type of situation, was a bit harsh for a kid taking studio classes.

Just my penny's worth of opinion.

You have no idea how fast I was running around trying to get pictures before for a dump truck came in...if at all. That and my camera was dying. lol

lol My truck was I think a $35k truck back in 98. That would be like almost a $50k truck now. :Pshyco: Bought it for $6500 back in 2010.

Combat intended to break is very much the case. The basic thought is that if you're having to use this on someone, they were trying to hurt/kill you anyway, so you destroy them. As for kids, I started doing this when I was 14 and I had never done any thing like it before. No karate, no MMA, nothing. Complete clean slate. The MMA guys and other people that have done martial arts before have a tough time for a while due to the "bad habits" developed in those other systems.
