Wet carpet

Bought a bag of 20 lb ice tonight. Went golfing, actually had a hole in one, then went home and realized I left bag of ice on floor in back seat. Carpet is wet. Used towels and paper towels to dry. Have fan blowing over night. Any other suggestions? So disappointed in myself

Rent a dehumidifier the padding below carpet is soaked. Put it in truck with windows and doors shut, empty when needed.

invest in a wet/dry vac and suck out the bulk of the moisture.every workshop should have one.

X2 on the wet/dry shop vac. Then get a small container of damp rid and leave it on the rear floor for a couple of days so it pulls any remaining moisture out. I use that stuff on my boat. Really works. I think you’ll be fine.

Grocery stores rent carpet cleaners that will suck the water up with a hand tool. Make it work for you and clean all the upholstery while you're at it.
