Looking for info, have a 2500 Ram 6.4 bighorn, notice rear carpet of drivers side wet, and haven't had rain. Then i touch driver front carpet, and it's damp, but not completely, just where you plant your foot,I have weather tech mats, and none are wet which has me thinking how the heck are carpet wet and not the mats. 3rd brake light not it, window in rear not it, all checked, can't think of any thing else. Got me scratching my head!

Examine the rubber “accordion” conduit that runs from the door to the A-pillar (near the door hinges).

See if it is split or dislodged from the A-pillar (it is a press-fit and not glued).

If it is loose or misadjusted, water can run down the A-pillar (near the door hinges), enter the body through an opening from the rubber conduit, run behind the floor kick-panel, and into the carpet (at the edge of the mat you have - so the mat remains dry but the water wicks into the carpet).

Do you have a Sun Roof ?

---> Have you been running your HVAC unit ? <----
I do have sun roof, no leaks there, I go through truck wash at least 3 times a week, unlimited wash, that's why, and nothing gets wet. No stains on ceiling near roof.

Never thought of this, but wouldn't it get wet thru a truck wash? I mean I'm in there 3 days a week at least and no water gets in truck anywhere. I'm check that out though. Thank you!

Did you remove your 3rd light ,mine was not letting enough water in to stain the headliner but there sure was a lot of water marks behind it .

I did remove the 3rd light, completely dry. Nothing getting in there. That was my first check, then my slide window, and for it to get on part of drivers side floor is what got me, and behind drivers seat. Everything else dry‍♂️♂️

I would still check the drain tubes that run down the "A" Pillars from the Sun Roof
You might be able to see something by popping the screw cover off of the drivers side A Pillar

DO not take the cover off of the A Pillar before disconnecting the Negative Battery Post, or it may trigger the Air Bag

Thanks for the heads up on the battery disconnect. I'll see what I can find in the next few days. If not it's going to the dealer. Frustrating
