I had two 10” Pioneer Champion series subs given to me and I need to know what’s a good amp to use?
Not sure yet if I’m going with a dual sub box or a single. I have the stock 8.4 and won’t be switching that out. I’ll be switching out the stock speakers at a later date.99112E4E-D190-4FEC-A7F9-F0EBF0E4BC10.jpeg 8CF56530-72FE-44F7-9197-480D71B7070A.jpeg F28A0354-57A0-4FCE-AA91-B5A8094667F4.jpeg

Can’t go wrong with a Rockford Fosgate amp. Had one through high school and college. Same amp. Never failed me. It made my one 12” sound like 2 15s.

Can yiu introduce me into whoever gave you them subs? Been looking for those types of friends.

Make sure you can find a box thats big enough for those bad boys.

I guess it all depends on your budget. I myself like alpine amps. Been using one for about 5 years now and she still pushing. Nothing like those though.

Let us know how those sound. Good luck

Do you want a small amp that is easy to hide, or does it not matter how big it is? Each sub is a single voice coil 4 ohm, so the final load will be two ohms. Honestly, any decent amp that does about 300-700 watts into a 2 ohm load would be about right for these. Just ignore the 1200 watt max BS on them.

Keep in mind too, that it takes twice the power just to gain a potential of 3db, so there would be next to no difference between say a 400 vs 500 watt amp, so don't get too hung up on exact wattage figures.
