Your half right. We have 2 products being released. One is for HD and the other will be the next generation product for the automotive market.

i would certainly stay with my 3815 if it had custom tuning, and trans tuning for the full line that the 3815 supports. 98+ i too live in florida, and i would be willing to drive to sanford as well so my truck could be used to devlop these features. id be willing to even buy them extra even after being a beta tester.

i would also like the data logging on the 2nd gens as well. i love my sc as it is, but in about 6 months it will be of no use for me, since i will be swaping in alot of performance upgrades, even a possible cam swap, and unfortunately the sc would not allow the full potential. so id be forced to go to the SCT.

long story short, trans tuning ability, data logging, custom tunability, maybe even a dash display sorta like the edge evoloution would be great. and all of those features would keep me a sc customer.

Well, the fact that this was posted in the custom tuning thread makes me think that maybe custom tuning will be an option.

maybe I'm a party pooper.......but here's how I view it.

The Droid platform will allow for a VAST increase in storage and will allow the user to select what type of vehicle they have - thus a 1 stop shop for all SC supported vehicles. With that said, if you have a Ferd StupidDuty and want to use the custom tune - there you go, this device will do it. If you have a Ram and want to tune the truck.....it'll do it.

Custom is there, on the vehicles they support it on. Just thinking out loud......

My thought is custom isn't happening for us. While I would love to see it, fact is the pres of SC has been on other forums and said no custom. So until we hear otherwise from him my thought is custom is a no for us.
