Well pulled the passenger side manifold off while i was under the truck i wiggled under it and smacked my head on a frame rail I was so pissed. Then found out the ******* who told me I know more about that truck than you do ended up using cork gasket for the manifolds. Dumb ****!

I like them though I'm careful with them I don't abuse them! Yea me and tyler were having a discussion about that and I think you were right cause I can see spots of carbon build up around the manifold

that don't look like cork to me. that looks like a standard high temp gasket. from the factory there would be no gasket there at all

Gasket was for a la style cause it didn't have the edges of a magnum

but did it break like cork. shouldn't really matter whether it was for a magnum or LA block. both have a similar shape. you can us a LA gasket on a magnum engine but you can only use a magnum gasket on a LA engine if you block the smog ports on the heads

Been almost a year since this pic, last pic I took of it before I sold it.
I miss it. 3 more years and I'll have another one.

She's mechanically sound, but aesthetically lacking. Needs paint BAD (it's been a florida truck and never garaged it's entire life)

Sweg.

Nearly wrecked the truck this morning.

Come down the hill at 60mph and there is a tractor trailer that starts pulling out. Slam the brakes, rear locks. Yank the wheel to the left, back right, let off the brake, rear end hooks, yank it back right some more hammer down and flip the trucker off.

****** *******! :flipthebird:

Plasti-Dipped my wheels today and my rear bumper. Also installed some LEDGlow underbody tubes.

Cleaned the truck good last night, cleaned the wheels especially and waxed the wheels real good to fend off salt.

Dropped er off this morning for an alignment

Well $360, 1 track bar, 1 tie rod end and 2 upper ball joints and she drives perfect again.

With the new 33s throwing off my odometer, mileage check is coming in at 7.5mpg...shop ordered a superchips and will be setting it correctly. Did some research and that is adjustable even with the superchips even though i have sct tuning.

Ordered a new dash and I'm finally going to fix my heater core. That should fix my very very slow coolant loss and allow the system to build pressure. Old dash is destroyed and has a cover siliconed so that'll prob just get worse when i pull it. Decided to just go all new.

Finally got snow so i took her out for a drive in the fresh powder. Snapped this while i was out
