What did you do to/with your second gen today?

I neec measure this rear axle. Its different tgan the 02 dana 80 di t think its as wide and the 3rd hubcaps dont fit over the hub. They do on the 02. The 02 dana 80 is 3" wider than the 60 front. This one doesnt appear to be. Looks dana 70 width to me.

Auxbeam q40s i installed today in oem houseings.

Bed lights all wired up.

Truck is now my daily work truck.

Orderd kyb monomax shocks for all 4 corners. Ive found i like the monomax better than the bilstein 5100 on my 02.

This 98 i think has its oem shocks still on and super. Bouncy now with 100 gall of fuel and flat bed.

Will slowly be chipping away at the consumables that need attention. Steering likly next after shocks.
08+ i have the reamer and will adjust drag link length with a cut iff wheel. Need to cut out about 1/2 if i remember right to center steering wheel.

Still working on cutting through the hard water. Nearly there now, probably 1 more time cutting then a finish wax

Rides so much better kinda like my 02
Probly done this 20 or more times on mine and other's rigs.

Ok thats it for a bit. Last night started with the bumper finished early this morning then removed bed from top kick. Will start a flat bed/front bumper build on it.
Old red is looki g decent and good to go. Next consumable is starter as its failed to engage a few times. Lol i have the oem starter off my 02 ive rebuilt a couple times maybe theres a 3rd build in it. Pretty sure its same as tge 98 starter.
