failed an emissions.....seems the pcm needs time to adapt to a battery that has been disconnected......that's the excuse they gave me........I bought a vin # specific gas cap and filled up the tank.....bring it back on Tuesday.

Actually, I'm not doing bags, I want a static 6/9ish drop that rides decently and will handle great. I have a plan and the right people to help me out.

The hard part is making more room in the front for the tire's upward movement. There's ways of doing it, but it's not easy and not cheap if you're not a good welder.

That's a tough nut.. good luck.

I got a set of used 285/70/17 duratrac today along with some 17 inch chrome clad too. Install went fine until I saw its rubbing on the uca. It's only rubbing a bit so I might just pass a grinder or take them off and order some 1/4 inch spacers

Trying to decide how to approach this front end rebuild......

I need to relocate the battery and get rid of the factory air box first. I have the battery relocation figured out and I'm going to order the parts today. Getting a short ram intake for the 3.7 is not a fun process, the only mass produced short ram is pretty cheap and goofy looking. I may have to make my own.

I have to keep everything away from the fenderwells completely. I'm probably just going to do a short piece of aluminum tubing powdercoated, drill a hole to mount the IAT sensor and put a nice cone filter on the end.

Washed her all up and hopefully I'll have time to get some tint on those windows tomorrow. You can kinda see my dual exhaust in this picture too.

When they do get here, I have already contacted a local off-road shop to have my spindles reverse reamed for the tie rod flip. I was going to order the bit and do it myself, but they're only going to charge me an hour labor and already have the bit, so it works out to be the same price as me doing it myself.

How's Red? Haven't seen an update in a while.

It's been a while since I've last posted and don't remember what I had finished. The latest changes have been 05 pcm swap, relocating the gas tank, billet wheels and a larger radiator.
