Finally installed 35s. Decided to go with the Mastercraft courser AXT2. Happy so far, great all around tire.

If any of you guys are in South Florida, I own a shop with my brothers and we do wheels, tires, lifts and accessories for trucks. I'd appreciate the business and will give very
competitive prices to you guys on the forum! Shoot me a PM and let me know what you're looking for!

When you do the active shutter delete,.........do you have to retune the truck?
I would assume so? Otherwise it's futile, correct?
You don’t have to retune it since all you’re doing is tricking the motor. I’m not sure how it would be futile either way though? Just depends on your goals I guess. I’m running the Hemifever tune already so it was helpful for my other mods.

OK as most of you know I am a member here and I have my own YouTube channel...
I now have a serious knocking issue in my HEMI.
I feel like this sounds more than just like a Hemi tick. I'm actually having it towed to the best automotive place in my town but I'm looking for your guys's opinion also. We don't need to destroy this thread with your comments so just let me know in my YouTube comments..
I appreciate any input.
Thank you, Adam

Finally got my truck leveled and stuffed some 35’s under it. Couldn’t be happier with the end result.

Damn. Those shocks look like they have been having fun Zach :)
Pretty impressed with the life I got out of em considering they are only 2.0’s the amount of weight I have on the rear end and the abuse they take, about a year since I re-valved and just under 2 years since I replaced the seals. Would love to come across some 2.5s or 3.0s someday but that will stay on the wishlist till I find a killer deal.

After a lot of diagnostic searching and testing I found the leak in my rear window on my 2010. I, like many others, thought the leak was from the 3rd brake light, but that had been fixed. I thought it might be coming in from the sat antenna so I sealed that from the top without removing the headliner. Sadly, that did not fix the leak.

So, I finally bit the bullet and pulled down the headliner and all the side panels. I found two small holes on the top of the sliding rear window where leaking water in from the rear window seal. I don't know if the seal was worn out or what. What I ended up doing was sealing the rear window from the outside with some black silicone and it worked. After removed the leer top so I could access the rear window I sealed it. I ran garden hose over the top of the truck for half a day and then waited for for the rain to come. I didn't have to wait long and it rained for a day and half. So far no leaks and I put the interior back together.

Now I'm running a residential dehumidifier in the truck for a couple of days to dry out the inside of the truck.

Those are on my short list :)

I’m extremely happy with them. Ride well and they’re quieter than the original Goodyear’s that came on the truck. No rubbing with my leveling kit either [emoji41]

Just curious that's all. I wasn't being rude.
What does removing the shutters do? Ram air cold air?
Thanks.

Also not trying to be rude lol. For me it opened up the space where my vararam pulls air. Better airflow=cooler air intake temps. It also removed it from in front of my condenser. Which just simply allows for more air to pass through your cooling assembly. The other reason for removal is the 180 degree thermostat. The stock ECU setting keep the shutters closed until the vehicle reaches operating temperature to decrease warm up time. I want my truck to run a bit colder so it was counterproductive ‍♂️. Like most mods it’s all just personal preference. I work at a dealership so for me (on top of the previously listed benefits) it’s one less thing I have to worry about breaking.

I have them on mine and I love them.....but they are in no way quieter than the OEMs. They’re louder by a longshot.

It’s not even close and mine get rotated properly at every oil change. Had them for about 15k miles now. Will probably get another set in 37” next time I need tires.
