Installed a new sliding window switch. Working perfectly now. One of my often used features...

Also ordered a new OEM fob. Got the 11-12 key because the 2010 key was out of stock. Only diff is the 11-12 key says RAM instead of DODGE. Programmed the new key today and it is working. I have remote start again.

Thanks Benny for the assist! @AllMoparParts.com

I kinda hate the "ram" brandings

I've often thought of pulling the airbag off my wife's journey and mounting it in my truck, the emblem looks so much better

My truck being a 2010 the last year of the dodge truck, has a mix of both. DODGE on the upper dash and tailgate emblem. RAM on the doors and lower dash bezel.

56,000 miles. Changed the front and rear diff oil and the T-case. The diffs got Redline 75w90 and 75w140.

The front diff was so clean I felt like I wasted my time. It was also the hardest to do since I had to remove my front skid plate and how cramped it was in there.

The T-case wasn't too bad either. It was the most expensive as I used the Mopar Unicorn tears they tell you to use. I could not find anything where anyone was using something different in the T-case in any Rams on the restyled 2016+ version of the transfer case. Only 93 bucks Canadian a quart and of course you need 1.5 quarts so you have to buy two. I feel violated. :laughing1:

I have an LS in the rear but it only had 40,000 miles on the Redline 75w140 I put in there before. It wasn't too dirty either.

Happy to not touch them again for a while. I realized that rolling around on the garage floor for hours is not as fun as it used to be now that I am in my late 50's. Dam I wish I had room for a hoist.

I'm in my mid fifties and in the same boat. What used to take me a few hours in my 30s, takes twice as long. The abuse on my hands over the years, dropping things, and then dealing aches and pains crap the next day. Wish I had a lift.

Finally got around to step one of my roof rack build. 9ft total length. Need a place where I can carry longer materials. Sourced the rails from 2 Tahoes at the pick-n-pull.

Next will be the cross rails and an additional mounting bracket under the long section. (Didn’t grab enough at the pull.)
Planning on using 1x2 rectangular tubing for the cross rails.
Also gave her wash and wax.

Hey does anybody know if there is a mod for a flat roof mounted antenna?

Would need to go up another 2 inches to clear the antenna but would like to keep the rack as low profile as possible.

It’s been a busy month or so for the RAM.

I have a MAXJAX lift that really works well with limited overhead space. https://www.maxjax.com/ or just google maxjax.

Wasn't expecting this B****** today . Had to pull my thermostat out on the side of the road to make it home. Got a buddy to bring me some water.

Good thing I had a spare 180 in stock. To be fair the thermostat was 9 years old.

I shampooed my engine bay and took her in for her second Krown application (purchased new in Feb 24').

I love it when she's all shiny under the hood and oiled up nicely ;)

Been dealing with the same family Krown shop for over 20-years now.... My girl leaks like a prom date after the dance...for weeks on end :)

...best time for application is late spring to early summer so one has the entire summer heat to let that product wick into all the nooks and cranny's throughout the vehicle and provide the best protection possible!

We all know that road salt/brine/sand wreaks havoc on any vehicle, especially today's newer vehicles.
