Pulled the trigger on one of those Dometic coolers for camping. Been running it 4 days straight so far and has been working flawlessly. Threw the solar panel back in and hooked up one of the auxiliary batteries to power it even though I probably didn’t need it, says it only draws .5ah . Have up to 10 more days out here so I’m sure I’m going to love it more everyday.

Welp. Will be gearing up for another road/camping trip for the next two weeks.

Let's see if the ol girl has one more in her lol.

Will be starting in Texas. Through OK, CO, WY, UT, ID, OR, CA, NV, AZ, NM. And finally, back to Texas

Should be about 6500 miles I think. Got my gas mileage tracker downloaded!

Did some minor correcting, polished up the glass, and tried seal n shine since I have a friend that wont shut up about it. It's not perfect, but I didn't want to take hardly any clear since this truck is a daily driver on all sorts of gravel and nasty roads. I eventually would like to touch up all the chips, do some optimum clear coat restore, and then do a nice correction with a re-coat since the cquartz it was wearing is long gone (It was pretty trashed after 3.5 years). The seal n shine I'm not a huge fan of at all. It got super grabby on me doing small areas at a time in the shade and the finish definitely looks like your usual cheap silicone fillers so it dulled it down and gave it that gel looking finish. Stuff smells very much like conformal silicone coating coming out of the bottle so that should've been a red flag to me I was in for some work. I also had to wait a day and then use some QD spray to get the rest of the residue off the truck. I guess for the price its not bad if it holds up, but I'd sacrifice longevity for something that's easier to work or spend more for a real coating like cquartz light if I have to put in some elbow grease.

You are more than welcome to come to Mississippi and do mine... it’s not had a proper wash since I got it. Like that bumper too!

Just noticed that the drivers window won't auto down. Looked for the $140 switch online and found it for just under $100. I guess I get it taken care of at the next oil change

Did you try to calibrate it?
With the window up push the button and roll down the window until it goes all the way down then hold the button for 2 more seconds, then the same for UP.

Hell I’d rather do that than spend the next 2 days in Chicago. Though something tells me spending a couple days on-site with a client pays more lol.

It’s already pretty filthy from driving around running errands. When I get back from my voluntold time in Chicago I’ll do a maintenance wash to see if the seal n shine was worth the hassle.
